Things you need when you purchase a kiln:

Type Silver or Gold Metal Clay Bronze Clay, Copper Clay or Steel Clay Glass Fusing
Need
  • Hard Fiber Shelf
  • 2 pair of 1/2" or 1" posts
  • Stainless Steel Container or Ceramic Firing Container
  • Zetex Gloves (or Heat Resistant Gloves)
  • Treasure Sifter
  • Carbon (either Rainbow or Coconut)
  • 2 pair of 1/2" or 1" posts
  • Corderite Shelves (you can use the Hard Fiber Shelves too)
  • Primo Primer or ThinFire Paper (single use only) or Firing Cloth
  • 2 pair of 1/2" or 1" posts
Optional
  • 2nd Hard Fiber Shelf
  • 2pr of 2" posts
  • Fiber Blanket and or/ vermiculite with crucible dish
  • Big Tweezers
  • Heat Resistant Gloves (or Zetex gloves)
  
  • 2nd Corderite shelf
  • 2 pair of 2" posts
  • Fiber Paper 1/16", 1/8" or 1/32"
  • Heat Resistant or Zetex gloves (raking or working in the kiln when it's hot)
