The portable Home Artist kiln sets up in minutes. It plugs into a standard household outlet and features a luggage carrier for easy moving.

The kiln fires rapidly up to 2000°F. It uses space-age ceramic fiber insulation, noted for energy efficiency. It is large enough to fire 10" china plates. The digital controller fires to pyrometric cones with 3 key simplicity.

The Home Artist furniture kit consists of carefully selected fireclay shelves and posts for this particular model. When estimating the price of the kiln, include the cost of furniture. The furniture allows you to stack multiple layers of ware. Without it, you could fire only the ware that would fit on the kiln bottom. Recommended furniture kit for the HOME ARTIST and equivalent sized kilns. Paragon's durable cordierite shelves resist warpage and thermal shock. They are volume-stable. (Note: The photo shows a general assortment of furniture rather than the exact contents of this furniture kit.) Shipping does apply to this item when it is shipped from the mfg.
