Instruction Manual for Hadar’s Clay™ Quick-fire Copper, Bronze, Pearl Grey Steel, Steel, and White Bronze
Hadar's Clay is now available in the form of powder. The powder is already mixed with a binder and all you have to do is add water. The advantages over pre-mixed clay are that you won't have to worry about shelf life and that you can easily bring the clay to the desired consistency. The clay is very forgiving, soft, pliable, and sticks well to itself. It mixes quickly, with no mess, and lasts a long time in the mixed form.
All of Hadar's Clay are fired in two phases, buried in carbon. Hadar recommends WLW's Coconut Carbon!
All clays are compatible with each other and can be fired in many combinations to create mixed metal jewelry.
Refer to Hadar's Clay instruction manual above for specific firing schedules, general information about firing base metal clays, compatibility, troubleshooting, programming instructions, and more. The manual is updated on a regular basis as new information is discovered.
On the second tab, you'll see a video on how to mix the clay as well! Don't forget Hadar's books for more information. They are excellent!
