This brand is a little more expensive, but easier to punch. They work great on cardstock. Use these not only for PMC Sheet, but to also add concave or convex shapes into the surface of your clay when rolling it out. This is done by punching out cardstock and laying it under the clay as you roll it out (either on texture sheets or without texture). Look for this project on our tutorial page ...coming soon! These punched out shapes are approximately 14mm pre-fire and 11mm after shrinkage from firing.
Try these fired and tumbled PMC Sheet shapes under your glass in your dichro cabs! If you use crystal clear glass over the shapes the shapes will remain silver. Or try clear glass and see the silver shapes turn gold. Interesting and unusual designs to integrate into your glass work!
These are also great for Keum-Boo foil. Easier to use before annealing the gold, but if you use them after annealing, it is wise to place the gold inbetween a piece of folded tracing paper before punching. Fabulous ways to add a little hint of gold.
Zinc has increased tremedously. Therefore, the price of the punches have increased for 2007.
